How will you make an impact in this role?

This is a core and exciting assistant manager role within ICS Operational Excellence team supporting our Proprietary and Partner Card Services organizations across our International Business. The role supports the PRSA program.

Elevation of PRSA program to RCSA. Adherence to RCSA and Internal Control Framework policy
Partner with process teams to identify key operational risks, provide risk-based consultancy, design controls and evaluate control effectiveness
Conduct PRSA Refresh, create new PRSAs, co-ordination and consultation with Process teams/ MOREs, ORM & Compliance. Support the development and enhancement of PRSA portfolio, ensure relevance to the business by addressing key risks.
In addition, the role also involves supporting Testing & Control certification, Creation/ Enhancement of Controls triggered via NPAs, OREs, Audit MAPs etc.
Review and action on 2nd line requests i.e., Global Privacy Oversight, Global Record Management, ORM
Driving on CRA BUCA metric including OC & GOV actionable, review and action OC items including on CRA Design observations
Providing key analytical support to the team for analyzing information, interpreting data and reporting related to PRSAs and wider testing and monitoring
Assist in additional identification specific risks throughout business processes and systems (along with business process owners)
Creation of new controls/ Enhancement of existing controls across various channels -NPAs, OREs, Audit MAPs
Support risk management practices within the business
Provide key analytical risk insights by analyzing information & interpreting data on Controls and PRSAs
Drive risk awareness and conduct training sessions to embed strong risk culture and strengthen control environment

Minimum Qualifications

4-5 Years experience in operational risk management (e.g., within Risk and/or Internal Audit function) Understanding of critical operational risk management lifecycle activities
Project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience in process governance, with an understanding of processes that align with policies, regulatory frameworks, and/or operational standards
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios effectively

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Risk Mgmt., or related field; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, MSc) or certifications are advantageous
Experience in at least one of the following:
- Supporting identification of operational risks throughout business processes and systems
- Facilitating risk assessment performance in addition to further assessments and testing programs to ensure regulatory and internal standards are met
- Supporting independent control monitoring, including identification of control improvements
- Supporting the identification of areas of risk for intervention, including conducting independent quality assurance and process testing
- Compiling thematic risk reporting to provide actionable insights on risk levels, emerging trends and root causes
