Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Global Senior Product Manager to drive the growth of our Detergents product line within the Biochemistry business. This role is pivotal in developing portfolio strategy, innovation pipeline, and sustainable sales growth, ensuring profitability, and competitive positioning in the Life Science research market. Key Responsibilities:Product Line Performance:Manage the entire product lifecycle, including identifying opportunities, planning product development, and optimizing existing product business.Assess key markets, technology trends, customer needs, and competitors.Investigate revenue growth drivers and identify opportunities across workflows and customer segments.Partner with Commercial colleagues, marketing Communications, and Digital Marketing to develop and execute marketing tactics and commercial tools from an end-user perspectiveConduct regular analysis of portfolio pricing, including price position vs competition across geographies to develop pricing strategies. Drive execution of pricing strategies and monitor profitability impactsNew Product Development and Expansion:Drive innovation with an emphasis on sustainable and greener alternative products.Lead cross-functional teams on new product launch plans.Product Sustainability & Supply:Lead a cross-functional team to improve the supply chain needs for commercial requirements of the portfolio.Monitor supply chain performance and provide guidance for improvement.Portfolio Positioning Development and Go-to-Market Priorities:Partner with commercial colleagues and marketing to ensure optimal sales mix across channels.Develop web activities, tools, and content for products and product categories Who You Are:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in relevant scientific discipline with a minimum 10+ years of expertise in the Laboratory & Life Science market.Proven track record of influencing and leading cross-functional teamsTrack record in developing multi-year portfolio strategies, go-to-market plans, and managing complex supply chain dynamics.Ability to highly effectively communicate and influence internal and external audiences, using both oral and written communication skillsStrategic and analytical mindset with exceptional project management abilities.Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally, up to 20% of the time. Preferred Qualifications:Advanced degree (M.Sc., MBA, or PhD) and 10+ years of experience in LifeScience reagent and consumable product management and marketing.
