The Open Innovation – Senior Specialist would play a key role in helping bring new technologies & ideas into MBS, identify candidate use-cases from across the value chain, conduct quick prototypes/proof-of-concepts to validate fitment to the use-cases, develop business-cases for the selected ideas/use-cases/technologies and provide support to relevant teams that industrialize these use-cases Job Description/ Key Responsibilities: Define, Maintain and Socialize Innovation Processes for MBS: Responsible for the creation & maintenance of the innovation process Educate and Influence key stakeholders across the organization to adopt the process to promote innovation in their areas Gather feedback, tune & refine processes, if need be Facilitating Idea Generation: Organize brainstorming sessions and design-thinking workshops to generate innovative ideas Encourage diverse perspectives and facilitate discussions Help teams address business challenges through creative solutions and the use of emerging-technology Identifying and Evaluating Innovations: Stay informed about emerging technology trends and breakthroughs Assess the potential impact and feasibility of new technologies for implementation within MBS Evaluate the relevance of innovations to MBS business model Collaboration and Influence: Collaborate with other MBS teams to integrate external ideas Build relationships with external partners, startups, and research institutions Advocate for open innovation practices within the organization Prototyping and Rapid development: Working alongside other MBS teams, develop quick prototypes and PoCs to validate the ideas & innovations Liaison with MBS stakeholders to assess business value for the ideas & innovations Develop business case for selected ideas, seek approval from stakeholders Data driven exercise?? Support teams that industrialize these ideas Who you are: Graduate Degree / master’s degree (Computer Science/Engineering) or equivalent, Proficiency in English (Verbal, Written). MBA is plus Primary Skills: Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field. Industry Experience: 6-8 years of experience in large, matrixed organizations. Experience in GBS domains is preferred.Emerging Technologies: Deep experience & understanding in AI (Generative-AI, Machine Learning, NLP) and at least two of the following emerging technologies – HyperAutomation, Data & Analytics, Process Mining, AR/VRAnalytical Skills: Ability to assess the potential impact of ideas & innovationCommunication Skills: Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders Influence and Negotiation: Persuasion skills to drive change and collaborationAdaptability: Openness to new ideas and willingness to adapt Start-up Experience: Prior experience in tech start-ups is often valued Business case : Experience in incubating and scaling Innovative solutions driven through transformative business case Secondary Skills:Experience in working within large enterprises and matrixed organizations.
