As a Data Solutions Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping data ecosystems here. Who you are:Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science or a related field. Proficiency in English (Verbal, Written) Professional Skills, Qualifications and ExperiencePrimary Skills Proven experience (2 years or more) in data engineering or related roles.Expertise in building data pipelines on top of at least one of the popular data stacks (Snowflake, AWS based data platform, Palantir Foundry etc)Proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar programming languages.Experience in data processing tools like DBT, Alteryx, Dataiku etcFamiliarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI or Qliksense.Exposure to AWS data services (ETL tools, Lambda, S3 data handling, RDS/CosmosDB etc)Good understanding of Data Management and its application in data solutions build (Data Catalog, Data Quality etc) Secondary Skills:Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify business problems that can be addressed through data solutions.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearlyExperience in working with GBS functions or similar shared services environments is a strong plusAbility to work on a dynamic, research-oriented team with concurrent projectsStay current with industry trends and advancements in data technologies to drive innovation Key Responsibilities: Data Engineering:Develop and maintain efficient ETL processes for various domainsCollaborate with data architects and data owners to design scalable data modelsImplement data transformations and aggregationsData Platform Expertise:Build data pipelines using cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Palantir Foundry)Optimize data storage and retrieval mechanismsData Quality Assurance:Implement data validation checksMonitor data quality and address anomalies promptlyGenerate reports based on metrics defined by Enterprise Data ManagementDatabase Management:Knowledge of both relational databases (RDBMS) and NoSQL databasesCloud Experience:Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS)Data Modelling and Architecture:Understanding of data modelling techniques and principles.Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements.Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.Apply now and become a part of our diverse team!We are an equal opportunity employer that values workforce diversity.
