Job Description

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:Process Orders, Quotes sent by different countries and send required certificate of analysis or Material Safety Data Sheet to customers as requested by them. PURPOSE OF THE POSITIONThe purpose of this position is to provide support to both internal and external customers, providing them a professional, accurate and efficient response which will help them to achieve their requirements and also to build good rapport with customers for growth of organization. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Enter email and fax orders accurately according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and country rules as per agreed timelines in Oracle/SAP.Managing internet and B2B orders and process price and availability requestsEnter quotes for prepacked items.Identify and follow up customer specific requirementsSet up internet profile registrations and handle password resets.Send out documentation to customers including certificates and copies of order documentation.Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly customer specific open order reports.Maintaining customer master data and thoroughly vetting all new customers before creating an account.Ensure expected productivity and accuracy is maintained consistentlyOpen Order Management (Block orders, Web Order Block & Backorder Management). BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Education:Graduation in any disciplinary Experience:Requires minimum of 1-2 year work experience in a similar position Technical Skills / Competencies: SAP/Oracle user knowledge – Basic Proficiency expectedSome Basics of SAP/Oracle (Quote and Order Management).Navigating different transaction and screensAbility to perform right search as per requirementShould be able to enter data in the system with all the required parameters, under supervision from experts. Understanding different T-Codes and its impact on the results Microsoft Office- Basic Proficiency expected Computer operating knowledge. Familiar with interne google mail and Lotus notes. Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excess and Power point. Key Board Skills– Basic Proficiency expectedBasic knowledge in operating keyboardShould have keyboard skills with typing speed of 20-25 wpm Communication Skills (Written/Spoken English)– Basic Proficiency expectedGood knowledge in written and spoken English Behavioral Competencies:Basic proficiency in Interpersonal skills, Problem solving, Planning & execution and Impactful communicationLimited proficiency in Customer orientation, Business acumen and Leading change.
