Job Description

The Oracle Life Sciences Applications suite leads the market for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device research applications in the rapidly expanding life sciences industry. These products provide integrated services to control and automate the drug and medical device development process. We are a centralized Quality Engineering organization with increased focus on Automation, Quality, Stability and Scalability of Oracle Life Sciences Clinical One Cloud Service product releases. The Quality Engineering Organization is responsible for Functional, Integration, security testing, end-to-end integration testing, Automation, and OCI/MCS readiness for Life Sciences Clinical One Cloud Service product line. This team works with Product Management, Development, Services, and Support to understand the requirements, deployment environments, and use case scenarios to enable them to successfully design, deploy, and test. Responsibilities

Define automation framework using Java script
Ability to develop automation scripts using Java script
Ability to provide automation solutions to team
Good experience in defining coding standards
Ability to improve scripting failure rate
Should have experience in CI/CD pipeline
Improve automation coverage of features
Ability to develop new features within the sprint
Work closely with X-teams to understand requirements and functional flow(s)
Create, maintain, execute and provide analysis of new and existing automated UI regression suites.
Recommend and influence the quality strategy required to support lean and robust automation testing.
Coordinate testing project management by contributing task definitions and estimates for automation project plans and preparing Automation progress reports.
Review merge requests and provide constructive feedback.
Perform project tasks and solve problems with little or no assistance and guidance.
Serve as a mentor for one or more lower-level staff.
Passionate for continuous learning, experimenting, and applying cutting edge technology and software paradigms.
Continues learning of technology and standards, actively stay abreast of trends and standards, recommend best practices and share learning.
Share knowledge of Automation practices with others through both informal interaction and formal training
Collaborate closely with all stakeholders on assigned projects.

Core Requirements

B.S. or M.S. in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience relevant to functional area
Minimum of 6+ years of software engineering or related experience
Proficiency with wide range of automation tools and technologies: Selenium, Node.js, JavaScript, TestNG, Jenkins, JSON, SQL
Solid knowledge in automating REST APIs
Solid experience working with Databases such as Oracle DB (19.x +)
Good knowledge of Docker and K8s infrastructure
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
Experience using Agile Jira, TestRail, bug tracking tool(s)
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of functional automation.
Demonstrate outstanding written and oral communication skills.
Ability to dive in and learn complex systems.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment
Demonstrate excellent analytical skills with ability to recognize and articulate deviations and participate in the excellence of ongoing process improvements.
Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work both independently and, in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
Candidate must demonstrate the ability to conform to changing priorities, timelines and project demands using an analytical and problem-solving approach.
Must be able to react to project adjustments and alternations promptly and efficiently, and remain flexible during times of changes.

Desired Qualifications

Experience of working in a Regulated Industry is highly desirable (like Health/Life Sciences domain)
Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11 requirements
