Job Description

Role: Business Analyst Role Description:The Business Analyst combines (functional) R&D and technology expertise to translate functional demand into precise technology requirements. He/She supports process ideation and optimization through in-depth analyses and recommendations throughout the entire lifecycle of a system/platform. The Business Analyst acts in the Project or Service Delivery domain.Responsibilities/Deliverables· Analyze R&D functions’ current and future technology needs, recommending suitable solutions.· Analyze and support the design and optimization of R&D functional processes, implements process improvements in the systems.· Collect information from SMEs, documents business requirements, and translates them into technical requirements.· Implement process/workflow design(s) (incl. necessary business process analyses and data integration from external parties)· Supports the Project Lead or Service Deliver Manager in developing and updating the business case.· Supports the Technical Lead in solution design, creating functional specifications.· Supports the Testing Manager in test plan writing.· Supports the Business Partner in business case preparation.· Prepares system user training guides.· Handles change requests in cooperation with VQT. Role: Service Delivery ExpertRole Description:Deliver service activities to ensure smooth and stable daily operation and availability for HC-DD IT R&D applications within the scope of the respective function(s).Responsibilities/Deliverables· Combine expertise for R&D-relevant technologies and R&D functional applications and processes.· Deliver services for applications in scope as per agreed service levels and in compliance with all applying internal and external regulations.· Support and executes system configuration from a functional perspective.· Provide application support for end users from business functions, in particular 2nd-level support (via ticketing system).· Manage functional list of values.· Performs user management and administration tasks.· Continuously seek to improve services for R&D functions by conducting corrective and preventive actions.· Service for applications in scope to be delivered as per agreed service levels and in compliance with all applying internal and external regulations.· Handle day to day interaction for infrastructure related operations and consult solution designer for complex discussion as required.
