Job Description

Job Title: Validation Engineer Job Location: Peenya, Bangalore Role DescriptionDevelop service protocols for execution by Field Service Engineers and subcontractors, using available tools and methods.Provide feedback to global Technical Development, Tech Expert teams and internal partners to maintain and update the protocol creation process, technical methods and tools.Collaborate with Customers in APeC, Project & Product Managers, Service Engineers, Software & Hardware Engineers and R&D to ensure protocols correspond to requirements.Document Work Orders linked to protocol development in a thorough and timely fashion.Participate in the development, maintenance and improvement of tools & processes to improve efficiency & performance of Field Service activities and Customer Satisfaction.Identify opportunities for process and tool improvement; contribute to their scoping, development and implementation.Participate in PDPs as participant of the Support Team, to ensure release to service & support at product launch including all defined deliverablesProvide feedback to global Technical Development and internal partners to maintain and update the list of PDP deliverables and improve the PDP process. Communicate/ report on PDP progress and status to Field Service WW and partners as required.Deliverables may include but are not limited to:Test Matrix Evaluation of serviceability Tech Methods (With R&D and Op Eng) including test procedures & acceptance criteria alignment Tools + instruments requirements Service protocols Support to training material development. FSE training: develop & delivery Identification of relevant tech documentation for FS support and creation of FS documents (mind map, prep letter, tools list) Knowledge transfer to Tech Experts Support service marketing with technical information respecting the project schedule.Tech knowledge managementProvide technical expertise, procedures, documentation to support Field Service EngineersDevelop and test technical proceduresSales supportPromote service & support capabilities, including in customer visits/meetings – sales pitchFollow and apply the procedures that are part of assigned learning CVsShare knowledge, best practices and experience within FS and with other departmentsStrong organizational skillsProblem solving and project management skillsEnsure data integrity using CRM tools, following playbooks and Standard Operating ProceduresExcellent communication skills: ability to communicate in a professional manner with internal and externalcustomers by email and over the phone Job RequirementsProficiency in English and "local language"Ability to work as part of a team and independently, developing personal initiativesIT skills: MS Office / CRM systems•Follow and apply the procedures that are part of assigned learning CVs•Share knowledge, best practices and experience within FS and with other departments.
