You will play a crucial role in shaping and advocating for policies that align with our business objectives and regulatory requirements. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment where you will influence the future of the payments and financial services industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape and public policy ecosystem, combined with a passion for driving positive change through strategic engagement with regulators, policymakers, and industry bodies.</p> <h3><strong>Role and Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Policy Strategy Development:</strong> Develop and implement a comprehensive public policy and regulatory affairs strategy for India and other key markets, ensuring alignment with Razorpay’s business goals.</li> <li><strong>Government Relations:</strong> Establish and strengthen relationships with regulatory agencies, government bodies, and policymakers through proactive engagement, including oral and written communications.</li> <li><strong>Regulatory Advocacy:</strong> Lead advocacy efforts on behalf of Razorpay, including drafting responses to regulatory frameworks, discussion papers, and proposed legislations related to payments, financial technology, and financial services.</li> <li><strong>Stakeholder Engagement:</strong> Represent Razorpay in meetings with government officials, industry associations, and other stakeholders to advance our public policy objectives and influence regulatory developments.</li> <li><strong>Regulatory Monitoring:</strong> Monitor and analyze regulatory changes, assess their impact on the company, and provide timely updates to local, regional, and global executive management.
