Department Profile

The Fixed Income Division (FID) is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Corporate Credit, Muni Products, and Securitized Product Group. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manage risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets. The Corporate Credit Division is a market leader across a broad range of markets, with expertise in areas including market-making in Investment Grade, High Yield, Leveraged Loans, and Emerging Markets credit, in addition to Lending and Financing.

Background on the Team

The Credit COO Team is responsible for supporting the Credit Sales and Trading team by driving strategic decision-making and executing growth initiatives to enable the business to meet and exceed objectives. The team works closely with Credit Corporates management, the global Credit COO team, as well as colleagues in support groups such as Compliance, Operations, Finance, and IT. The successful candidate will support the Americas Credit COO team to identify key change and growth initiatives, optimize operational processes, and provide metrics & reporting. Candidate must be able to work well under pressure and be able to manage his/her workflow optimally.

Primary Responsibilities

· Data Analysis & Visualization: Dissect, understand, and present Credit business metrics data including PnL, volumes, market share, capital, expenses, and personnel information

· Process & Project Management: Work independently and manage internal Credit process enhancements via leveraging internal systems and liaising with desk and support functions (e.g. daily PnL estimates, risk and trader mappings, reporting on business profitability)

Management Reporting & Presentations: Help manage and execute on quarterly and monthly Credit business updates to senior leaders

Responsibilities

· Monitoring the desk’s risk, PnL, RWAs, and capital usage on a daily basis

· Liaise and collaborate with other FID Product COOs and Sales COOs groups globally to leverage best practices and insights for socialization or application within Credit

· Assisting on ad hoc projects for the Credit COO team and desk heads

Skills desired

· Basic knowledge of Sales and Trading and Fixed Income Credit products

· Very proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

· Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

· Highly organized, detail-oriented and thorough

· Ability to multi-task

· Ability to work collaboratively on group projects and independently on individual assignments

· Ability to think creatively and strategically in a dynamic and often ambiguous work environment

· Proactive and results-oriented mindset
