Job Description: Technical Writer and Software TesterWe are seeking a versatile Technical Writer and Software Tester who can manage both the creation of comprehensive technical documentation and the testing of software to ensure quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to communicate complex concepts in clear, concise language and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and quality assurance processes.Key Responsibilities:Technical Writing:Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, process guides, and training materials.Collaborate with business analysts, engineers, and product managers to gather information and understand project needs.Translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise documents, following company standards and regulatory requirements.Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with product releases and regulatory guidelines.Review and edit documentation created by subject matter experts to ensure clarity and consistency.Assist in creating documentation templates and maintain style guides.Software Testing:Design, implement, and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for backend and frontend applications.Perform functional, regression, integration, and unit testing to ensure software quality.Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution.Conduct SQL queries for database testing and validation of data integrity.Perform testing in Linux environments and work with Python-based projects using Visual Studio Code.Leverage cloud platforms like Google Cloud (GCP) for cloud-based testing.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Develop and execute validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ) in regulated environments in accordance with GxP guidelines.Qualifications:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven experience in both technical writing and software testing roles.Strong understanding of technical documentation practices and software testing methodologies.Familiarity with GxP and GAMP5 guidelines in regulated environments.Proficiency with Python, SQL, Linux, and cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud).Experience using JIRA for test case management and defect tracking.Knowledge of document control systems and software development tools (e.g., Visual Studio Code).Strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Preferred Skills:Experience with test automation frameworks.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 compliance for electronic records and signatures.Understanding of UX principles to enhance documentation.Experience in creating visuals (e.g., screenshots, diagrams) for technical documents.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
